Hyundai Launches Stargazer MPV in Malaysia, Priced From RM99,800

Hyundai Motor Malaysia (HMY) has officially introduced the all-new Hyundai Stargazer to the local market, entering the competitive multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) segment with three variants priced from RM99,800 to RM121,800.

Billed as “The WEhicle,” the Stargazer focuses on family-oriented functionality, safety, and modern styling. The range comprises the entry-level Style, mid-spec Prime, and the crossover-styled Stargazer X.

Variant Breakdown and Pricing

Stargazer Style (RM99,800): Features a standard seven-seat (2+3+2) layout, LED headlights paired with Hyundai’s signature H-pattern daytime running lights, a 4.2-inch TFT LCD instrument cluster, an 8-inch central infotainment display, and 16-inch alloy wheels.
Stargazer Prime (RM109,800): Upgrades the cabin with dual 10.25-inch integrated displays, six airbags, and the Hyundai SmartSense (ADAS 2.0) advanced driver assistance suite.
Stargazer X (RM121,800): Adopts an SUV-inspired design featuring revised front and rear bumpers, a rear spoiler, gloss black exterior accents, and black alloy wheels. Inside, it swaps the second-row bench for a six-seat (2+2+2) configuration with individual captain seats, full leatherette upholstery, and a Shift-By-Wire gear selector.

Cabin Features and Safety Tech

All variants come equipped with roof-mounted rear air-conditioning vents and flexible cabin utility solutions, including a cargo floor box, integrated seat-back tables, and multiple USB charging ports. Higher-tier models add a floating center console with a detachable tray, wireless phone charging, and an Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) with Auto Hold.

Safety equipment on the Prime and X variants includes the Hyundai SmartSense safety suite. Key features comprise Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, and Lane Following Assist.
