Charli XCX Becomes Nothing’s First Global Brand Ambassador and Shareholder in Major Tech x Music Partnership

Charli XCX has officially joined Nothing as its first ever Global Brand Ambassador and latest shareholder, marking a major collaboration between the worlds of music, culture, and consumer technology.

Announced today, the partnership positions the globally recognised pop star at the forefront of Nothing’s latest international campaign, while also making her one of the brand’s strategic investors alongside notable names including The Weeknd, Casey Neistat, and Swedish House Mafia.

The move signals Nothing’s continued push to blend technology with culture and creative expression, especially as the company rapidly expands its presence in the premium consumer tech market.

According to Charli XCX, the partnership felt like a natural fit due to the company’s focus on creatives and design driven products.

“When I’m creating, I’m always thinking about how my work will be experienced out in the world and I love how Nothing headphones sound and are designed,” said Charli XCX. “Its ethos of prioritising creatives is really something I look for when working with a partner.”

Founded by Carl Pei, Nothing has quickly become one of the fastest growing lifestyle tech brands globally, known for its transparent product designs and minimalist ecosystem of smartphones and audio devices.

Carl Pei revealed that the collaboration with Charli XCX reflects the company’s ambition to move beyond conventional consumer electronics branding.

“The tech industry has spent a decade making everything quieter, more minimal, more monotonous,” said Pei. “Charli has spent her career going the other way in pop. We want Nothing to feel more like that.”

As part of the launch, Nothing unveiled a new global campaign titled “NOTHING (CHARLI XCX)”, photographed in London by Aidan Zamiri, a long time collaborator of the singer. The campaign prominently features the newly launched Nothing Headphone (a), highlighting its claimed 135 hour battery playtime.

The announcement also comes shortly after Nothing secured US$200 million in a Series C funding round, bringing the company’s valuation to approximately US$1.3 billion. The collaboration with Charli XCX is expected to further strengthen Nothing’s positioning among Gen Z and culturally driven consumers seeking products that combine technology, fashion, music, and lifestyle appeal.

With celebrity driven tech collaborations continuing to dominate consumer interest globally, the partnership is likely to generate significant buzz across both entertainment and technology sectors in the coming months.
