Samsung Galaxy S21 5G – Good Stuff!

I’m a firm believer in first impressions and when it comes to smartphones, it would be their designs. So, let me start it off with the design of Samsung Galaxy S21 5G. The device that we received to review was Phantom Violet and for a matte black fan like me, I’m impressed with the beauty of the colour and design. Apart from the violet colour, there’s also Phantom Grey, Phantom Pink and Phantom White. Eye candy it is!

In terms of display, it was designed for those who want a light design and compact 6.2-inch display, Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity-O display with adaptive 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and viewing. Heavy? Not really as it’s only 169g and trust me, good to hold and nice to scroll.

Now, let’s talk about the camera. It comes with an AI-powered triple-lens pro-grade camera with the usual features like portrait, wide angle and ultra wide angle. Built with 64MP lens giving you pictures all ready to be used on your social media accounts. More features? It also has night mode and one of my favourite SPACE ZOOM MODE!

Performance? The Galaxy S21 features the latest and most advanced smartphone chipset yet in a Galaxy for greater speed, energy efficiency and advanced computing capabilities to support 5G connectivity and on-device AI. It packs all the power you need to process photos, record 8K videos, enjoy a cloud gaming marathon and make the perfect video clips.

Battery? 4000mAh capacity with your favourite wireless charging with Fast Wireless Charging 2.0 or USB PD 3.0 (PPS) certified Fast Charging for wired charging (AFC and QC2.0 compatible)

Water resistant? IP68. Don’t go swimming in the sea with it tho.

Price? RM3,699 for its 8+256GB variant.

Conclusion: I think this device is a good stuff as I’m loving the design, the camera capability, 8k video feature. If battery is not an issue for you, why not? As for the price tag, oh well.. It’s a device with 5G technology, so can’t bargain.
