Samsung Electronics has introduced a new 14-meter Onyx Cinema LED display at CinemaCon 2026, expanding its premium cinema screen lineup for larger auditoriums.

The new 14m Onyx display is designed for Premium Large Format (PLF) theaters, offering a more immersive viewing experience with better seating optimisation and larger screen coverage.
It joins Samsung’s existing 5m and 10m models, targeting cinemas that want to upgrade to larger, high-end viewing formats.

- Supports up to 4K resolution at 120Hz
- HDR brightness up to 300 nits (brighter than traditional projectors)
- Infinite contrast ratio for deeper blacks
- 100% colour volume for more vivid visuals
- Flexible scaling up to 20 meters screen size
The display is also DCI-certified, supporting both standard cinema aspect ratios.
