Xiaomi has officially launched the REDMI Note 15 Series, introducing four new models: REDMI Note 15 Pro Plus 5G, REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G, REDMI Note 15 5G and REDMI Note 15. Built on the brand’s new REDMI Titan Durability standard, the lineup focuses on long-lasting battery life, stronger drop resistance and upgraded dust and water protection, supported by enhanced imaging and performance.

The series marks a major leap in durability for REDMI, with the Pro models featuring SiC (Silicon Carbon) Battery technology. This delivers higher energy density and longer lifespan for everyday use. REDMI Note 15 Pro Plus 5G leads with a 6500mAh battery, 100W HyperCharge, reverse charging and Xiaomi’s Surge battery management system for up to six years of reliable performance. Despite its slim 7.35 millimetre profile, REDMI Note 15 5G packs a sizeable 5520mAh battery, while the standard Note 15 increases to 6000mAh.
Structural toughness has also been upgraded. REDMI Note 15 Pro Plus 5G and Pro 5G come with SGS Premium Performance Certification, a reinforced Titan Structure and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. This provides certified drop resistance from up to 2.5 metres. They also achieve protection ratings up to IP69K, including the ability to withstand immersion for up to 24 hours. Wet Touch 2.0 ensures the screen stays responsive even with wet fingers.
On the camera front, the Pro models debut a new 200MP HPE sensor with in-sensor zoom, advanced HDR and multi-focal versatility using a single lens. The REDMI Note 15 5G and Note 15 feature 108MP cameras with 3x optical-level telephoto capability. Across the series, AI imaging tools such as dynamic motion effects, portrait enhancement, reflection removal and fast Instagram sharing enhance the photography experience.
Performance is also significantly improved with the latest Snapdragon and MediaTek chipsets, Google Gemini support and Circle to Search with Google. The top-tier REDMI Note 15 Pro Plus 5G adds Xiaomi IceLoop cooling and HyperAI for more personalised AI-driven features. Connectivity is boosted with Xiaomi Offline Communication, enabling kilometre-level voice transmission even without network coverage.
For entertainment, the series features larger displays up to 6.83 inches with 3200-nit peak brightness and triple eye-care certifications. Audio is louder and more immersive than before, with the Pro models offering a 400 per cent volume boost.
To celebrate the launch, the REDMI Note 15 Series is partnering with Discovery Channel and explorer Ed Stafford to showcase the devices’ durability through a new documentary project titled Ed Stafford’s Rite of Passage. A short film featuring Stafford and the REDMI Note 15 Series is expected to premiere soon.
