OPPO today announced the release of its new Memory Expansion Technology, RAM Expansion, for its Reno5 Series and its A74 Series smartphones in Malaysia. Introduced via a software update, users will be able to expand their smartphone’s default random access memory (RAM) storage capacity by up to 7GB for the Reno5 Series and 5GB for the A74 Series smartphones.

With RAM Expansion, users can enjoy enhanced performance for RAM-intensive games or whilst photo and video editing. It also provides smoother multi-tasking performance. Not sure how? Follow the steps below:

1.Enter the About Phone page found under Settings.

2.Tap on RAM.

3.Enable the RAM expansion option.

4.Select the memory allocation.
